The Turn Up For Fun squad is arranging a host of great activities, starting with an angling session at Poulner Lakes on October 27 from 10am until 4pm.
Fully qualified coaches, and all equipment provided. Just bring warm/dry clothes and a packed lunch at £13 per head for over-eights.
A Roman weekend is being held at The Ancient Technology Centre in Cranbourne, from 10am until 4pm on October 27 and 28. £5 for adults, £2.50 for children.

On October 29 there will be a Funquest wildlife drop in day with Hampshire Wildlife Trust on the West Park Meadow Playtrail, Damerham from 10.30am until 2.30pm.
There are Planet Sports days at Burgate and Sopley schools from October 30 to November 1, with multi-sports and Olympic challenges from 9am until 3.30pm, costing from £12.50 at Burgate, and from £15 at Sopley. Call 08456 589 800 to book places.
On October 31 there will be a TUFF day of seasonal crafts, games and fun at Ringwood and Fordingbridge junior schools, where over-eights can stay on their own, but under-eights need an adult. There’s a suggested donation of £2 per head.
Also that day there will be Boglins and Beasties, natural play and crafts for five to seven-year-olds at Blashford Lakes from 10am until 3pm. This is £15 a head – call Sue on 02380 285102 to book.
Again on Halloween, there will be a crafty Christmas workshop for grown-ups at Damerham Village Hall from 7.30-9.30pm, £4 per head, including refreshments. A Funquest trip for over-sevens is being run to Avon Tyrrell on November 1. Contact info@funquest.org.uk. On November 4 there’s Funquest fireworks, with a bonfire, barbecue and fairground at Damerham Sports Field.
