A MAN wielding a knife abducted a 13-year-old girl then threatened to rape and murder her. The teenager was walking along Westerham Road at about 10.15pm on Friday, June 12 when a man in a black Ford Escort pulled up and tried to start up a conversation. She ignored him, but the man followed her on foot. He said if she screamed he would rape and murder her. He then forced her to get into the car outside Biggin Hill fire station, threatened her with a knife and made sexual advances.

He drove her to where she was meeting friends and threatened to kill her unless she pretended she knew him. The man then drove the victim and her two friends to one of their homes. As he was dropping the girls off, he asked the initial victim her phone number but she gave him a false one. Police are appealing for witnesses, particularly a group of youths who may have seen the abduction outside the fire station. to call Orpington CID on 01689 284844. The suspect is described as white, aged about 25, 5ft 6in tall, with short blond hair, and freckles. He was wearing black jeans, a white or grey polo top and trainers.
