SEVEN brothers and sisters from Petts Wood have been keeping it in the family by all joining the same scout, guide and brownie group. The Barron children from Crescent Drive are all members of Petts Wood Methodist Church in Queensway. The achievement is made all the more remarkable when you consider the brownies only take girls aged seven to 10. The Barron family have one girl representing each year, without a twin in sight!

Proud mum Hilary said: "They all followed each other one by one. They take part in lots of activities such as camping trips and have lots of friends at the church. They all seem to enjoy it."

When asked if she gets fed up sewing on all their achievement badges, Mrs Barron said all her children help. "They would not be good scouts, guides or brownies if they didn't!"
