Pet store scheme to help abandoned animals

First published in News by

PETS at Home in Salisbury is running a Santa Paws appeal to help ensure that Salisbury’s abandoned animals aren’t forgotten this Christmas.

The appeal collects gifts and donations for abandoned animals during the festive season, and is being run for the third year, from now until December 24.

Customers buying a gift for their own pets can buy an extra gift or make a donation to benefit a needy pet at a local animal rescue.

Shoppers can also choose to take part in a ‘round up to a £1’ initiative whereby they can round up their purchases to the nearest pound, with the difference to be donated to local animal rescue centres.
