Panto to come to hospital
4:00pm Saturday 8th December 2012 in News By Morwenna Blake
DICK Whittington is coming to Salisbury Hospital, courtesy of tinned food giant Heinz.
The firm has teamed up with Starlight Children’s Foundation to provide entertainment for children in hospitals and hospices this Christmas as part of their Get Well Soup campaign.
On December 10, Dick Whittington and his friends will arrive at the hospital to put on a show for poorly children.
Throughout the Get Well Soup campaign, the public can purchase, gift or share a special personalised can of Heinz Get Well Soup via the Facebook page facebook.com/HeinzSoupUK.
For each can contributed, Heinz donates time towards Starlight’s programme of Christmas entertainment for children.
The minutes donated will add up to 65 pantomimes in total, which are currently being performed in hospitals and hospices all over the UK.
