TWO camels were the star attraction at Chalke Valley Playschool’s Christmas fair.

The fair, which included a variety of stalls and festive games, raised £650 towards a climbing frame. Manager Candida Metcalfe said: “We had a grand raffle and one of the prizes was a camel ride for two people.

“The camels were very good and the children loved having them there.”
