VISITORS to a garden centre in Netherhampton are being invited to write down their memories of loved ones and hang them on a charity Christmas tree.
The tree at Country Gardens Salisbury will remain up until Christmas Eve and is raising funds for the Alzheimer’s Society.
People who wish to put their thoughts in writing can pick up a special tag from the centre in return for a donation to the charity.
General manager Will Howard said: “The Alzheimer’s Society is our national charity of the year and we’re delighted to be working with them on this fundraiser.
“Gardening can have a positive impact on physical and mental well-being and can improve the quality of life for people in all stages of dementia.”
