THE Guide Dogs charity in Salisbury is this year organising its first live music event.

The event, to be held at The Chough in Blue Boar Row on January 27, will feature local musicians including Rachel Sinetta, Trevor Kay, Chris Row, Ashley (Love Box) and Dave Waddington, who are giving up their time in aid of the group’s Name a Puppy Appeal 2013.

The appeal aims to raise money towards the £5,000 it takes to name a guide dog puppy and pay for its first year of training.

Entry to the event, which will start at midday, is free and a raffle will be held to raise money for the appeal.
