ICE on the roads is still causing problems this morning and drivers are being warned to take care if they must go out on the roads.
Overnight temperatures are expected to remain below freezing for several days and there could be further snow flurries.
Services are slowly returning to normal, with buses and trains running, although people are advised to check websites before setting out.
Most south Wiltshire schools are reopening after being closed on Friday, but Wylye Valley Primary, Semley, Wardour in Tisbury and Pembroke Park are opening slightly later than usual.
Parents are advised to check school websites before setting off.
Zouch Primary School in Tidworth remains closed and Longford Primary School is operating from the Odstock site only.
