A CHARITY shop in Salisbury is offering a new home for children’s books, toys and games that can still be enjoyed by other families.
Barnardo’s has launched an urgent appeal for more donations for the children’s store in Catherine Street.
The charity’s only such shop in the region, it has already received around 2,600 bags from local supporters since opening just over a year ago.
But the team hopes to raise even more money for vulnerable and disadvantaged young people by attracting more donations.
Acting shop manager Michaela Swiffen said: “We still gets lots of customers coming in and saying they didn’t know we were here, so we’re hoping to raise awareness and attract more donations.
“We have something for everyone - from new and expectant mums looking for clothes, to grandparents wanting to have their own toys and games for when the grandchildren visit.”
The Barnardo’s shop is open Monday to Saturday from 9am to 5.30pm and Sundays from 11am to 5pm.

It looks like that they have painted their shops with a batch of Del boy's luminous paint. You cannot miss them!
