SINGERS from the Salisbury Plain Military Wives Choir donated their first anniversary cake to charity after snow and ice put a stop to their celebrations at the weekend.

The choir members had been due to celebrate their anniversary in Bulford on Saturday evening but many of the singers were unable to make it.

They decided to donate their cake, made by Fuzzy Muddle Cakes based in Larkhill, to Alabaré Place homeless shelter in Salisbury.
