GIFTED and talented musicians from the three Laverstock secondary schools took part in a three-day music workshop hosted by St Edmund’s School.
The youngsters from St Edmund’s, St Joseph’s and Wyvern schools worked on a performance for parents on Wednesday evening in the first musical collaboration of its kin between the three schools.
St Edmund’s head of music Jo Briggs said: “They worked tirelessly, learning music, lines and dance steps over three days to prepare for the performance.”
The show included a range of different music, from Bob Dylan to Emeli Sande and Bruno Mars to Ben E King, as well as an adaptation of part of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night.
The schools are now planning the next collaborative event.
