A PRIVATE view and talk on ceramics is the latest in a series of fundraising lectures to be held by Salisbury auction house, Woolley and Wallis.
The evening, in aid of The Trussell Trust, is taking place on Friday, February 8, and involves a private view of a fine porcelain and pottery sale, and a talk by Anton Gabszewicz, a renowned speaker in the world of ceramics, who will be speaking on the rivalry between England’s earliest porcelain factories, set against a historical background of London in the mid 18th century.
Previous talks have included those by Antiques Roadshow experts Eric Knowles, Richard Price and Paul Viney and have helped raise thousands of pounds for local charities.
The private view starts at 6pm with the talk at 6.45pm, and is being held at the Woolley and Wallis saleroom in Castle Street.
