Sports groups can apply for Lottery funding

SPORTS groups are being encouraged to apply for a share of a £40million Lottery fund.
The Community Sport Activation Fund has been developed to support grassroots activity at a local level. There are five opportunities to apply for the fund over the next four years.
The first round took place in January and the next round will be from May 7 to July 1.
The other three rounds will take place from November 2013 to January 2014, May 2014 to June 2014, and April 2015 to June 2015. For more information, visit sportengland.org/funding/csaf.aspx.
