Burglary at building site
10:01am Friday 8th February 2013 in News By Hannah White
GAS cylinders, drain covers and diesel have been stolen from a building site in Clover Lane, Durrington.
Burglars entered the site overnight on January 21 and loaded the propane gas cylinders and drain covers onto a flatbed lorry before driving off.
Diesel was stolen from the site in a second incident, which police believe is linked to the first, at about 8pm on January 26.
PCSO Scott Young said: “I would like to hear from anyone who has any information regarding either of these incidents. The site closes at 6pm each day and I would urge anyone who sees activity after this time to call police and help prevent any further crimes.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact PCSO Young at Amesbury Police Station on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
