GIRLS at Godolphin School welcomed guests from the Salisbury branch of the Alzheimer’s Society for an afternoon of entertainment and tea.

Students from Douglas House gave performances on the piano, flute and violin. And there was also a performance on the bamboo flute from one of the school’s international students as well as poetry readings and a short story written by one pupil.

Olivia Sparkhall, head of Douglas House said: “I was so impressed with how well the girls entertained our guests. There was a happy buzz in the library all afternoon with plenty of laughter and shared enjoyment at the tea party.”

A presentation was made of £250 raised over the year to help the Alzheimer’s Society to continue their work.
