Raising awareness of rheumatoid arthritis

THE Salisbury support group of the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society (NRAS) is calling on people to raise awareness of the condition by hosting a tea party.

The aim of the NRAS tea party campaign is to get people to host their own social gathering where they can eat cake, drink tea and enjoy time with friends, colleagues, neighbours or family. And as well as being a chance to have fun and socialise, the occasion can be used to raise awareness.

The Salisbury NRAS support group is part of a network of 40 groups across the UK, offering help and advice to those with the disease.
