Woman assaulted in Wilton

POLICE are appealing for information after a man assaulted a woman and damaged her car in Philips Road, Wilton, on Wednesday.
The incident took place at some point between 4pm and 5.30pm.The victim, a 43-year-old woman, was not seriously injured.
A 30-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of assault and criminal damage and released on bail pending further inquiries.
Officers would particularly like to speak to a dog walker who passed by during the incident.
