New fundraising group for hospice

SALISBURY Hospice will soon have a new fundraising group. Like the group in Tisbury that has operated for some years for some years, the Wilton group will raise money through events.
There are already fundraising events for the hospice being held in Wilton, and the new group will coordinate and organise efforts as well as promoting the vital work of the charity.
Fundraising by local people enables the hospice to continue to offer nursing and medical care, emotional and practical support, welfare advice, occupational and physiotherapy, complementary therapies, spiritual care and creative activities to patients and their families.
Chris Savage who has recently moved to Wilton will be chairing the group. Anyone in the area who would like to be involved can contact Mr Savage on 01722 741026 or email chrismsavage@gmail.com.
