Head shave for hospice

A CARPENTER from Shaftesbury is shaving his hair off to raise money for the Salisbury Hospice Charity and the Little Princess Trust.
Garry Pike has been growing his hair for the last year and a half to donate it to the Little Princess Trust, which provides wigs for children with cancer.
Mr Pike was inspired by his mother June, who spent time at the hospice before she died from cancer.
While undergoing chemotherapy treatment, she was given a wig made from artificial hair, which made her feel self conscious, so Mr Pike wanted to do something to help other people in the same situation.
He will have his hair shaved off on March 28.
