Money available for charitable groups

GRANTS are up for grabs for charitable groups in Wiltshire.

The Community Foundation for Wiltshire and Swindon is launching its second Local Giving match challenge, which runs for a month from March 5. There is a £10,000 pot available for charitable groups that can raise £200 online.

Groups are asked to join localgiving.com and set up a webpage then use social media and contacts to promote the page and get donations coming in.

It all donations are eligible, gift aid can be applied, and the Community Foundation will match donations up to £200.

There is a membership fee of £72 for which groups will be reimbursed, and a cost of about £10.
