2:27pm Monday 2nd September 2013 in News
STAFF from Glenside in South Newton have raised £1,500 for charity by doing a tandem skydive.
Three members of staff from the specialist neurological rehabilitation centre - Mandy Miller, Gemma Elliot and Ricci Picket - took to the skies on Saturday.
They raised £1,500 for Headway, a charity that offers support to people with traumatic brain injury and their families.
Ms Miller said: “The tandem skydive was an amazing experience and one that we are all keen to do again.
"We decided to raise funds for the Headway charity, which works to improve life after brain injury by providing information, support and services to people affected.
"The staff at Old Sarum were very professional and gave us lots of support and encouragement.”
