SALISBURY Fashion Week is back, and organisers are promising it will be bigger and even better than ever before.

Organised by award-winning local businesses, JAS Hair Group and Ladies who Love… Events, and sponsored by Allum and Sidaway, Hox Brasserie and Trethowans, the week will be launched in style on Thursday, September 26 at Salisbury City Hall.

A fashion-filled week of fun events will run until Wednesday, October 2. Organisers Jayne Prigent of JAS Hair and Catherine Dunning of Ladies who Love… Events said: “We’re really looking forward to welcoming everyone to this week-long fashion festival and to celebrating what Salisbury has to offer for your autumn/winter wardrobe.”

The Grand Launch Shopping Spectacular and Fashion Festival offers an opportunity for some 300 fashionistas to enjoy complimentary fizz and canapés while viewing the new AW13 collections on the catwalk and stocking up on must-have items for when the days get colder and evenings draw darker.

Fashion retailers from right across the city – both high street chains and independents – will be taking part, and in between catwalk shows, visitors can browse the quality pop-up shops selling a selection of wares including clothing, jewellery, hats, accessories, shoes, bags and purses, scarves, vintage goodies and much much more.

There will be lots of entertainment, with dance and singing acts appearing on stage during the evening.

Hox Brasserie will have a pop-up restaurant, and a raffle will raise funds for the Stars Appeal’s CT Scanner Campaign. Hotel Chocolat will also be treating guests to complimentary samples. Other events during the week include a Fashion Through the Decades catwalk show at the Pembroke Arms Hotel in Wilton on the Friday evening, and an open-air fashion event in the Old George Mall on the Saturday.

There will also be hands-on workshops, in-store shopping events, an Italian Jewellery Showcase at Allum and Sidaway, and also lots of special offers and exclusive fashion week savings to snap up.
