A PRE-SCHOOL in Salisbury has been chosen to be the charity of the year by a supermarket in the city.
Sainsbury’s has picked St Mark’s Pre-School to support with fundraising throughout the year.
The supermarket runs a Local Charity partner Scheme and last year raised £2,400 for Exeter House School.
It will be raising money to help towards pre-school projects such as a garden for the children where they can grow flowers.
Staff at the store are already planning a charity bike ride in October, and invited children and staff from the pre-school on Thursday for the re-launch of its clothing brand Tu.
