THE founder of a national charity event that raises money for breast cancer charities is also organising a local event this year.
Selaine Saxby organises Pink Aerobics, an event which takes place every October during Breast Cancer Awareness Month and is attended by more than 2,000 people each year.
She is holding a national event in Hyde Park on October 20 with three hours of classes, but she is also organising a 90-minute Zumba class at Codford Village Hall from 6.30pm on October 25.
The hope is to raise £1,000 from the Codford class, which will be added to the money from the national event for the Pink Ribbon Foundation.
Ms Saxby said: “In our tenth anniversary year Pink Aerobics is going to be the biggest yet. I really hope local people will come and have a go at the class in Codford.
“The social club is open, so anyone who needs a break can pop out for a drink.”
