Learning about the Tudors at Dinton Primary

Salisbury Journal: Learning about the Tudors at Dinton Primary Learning about the Tudors at Dinton Primary

CHILDREN at Dinton Primary School have been learning all about how the Tudors lived.

The Kingfishers Class, Years 3 and 4, started their topic with a Tudor tour of Salisbury, finding out the history of the city’s buildings, followed by a visit to Montacute House, to see how the wealthy Tudors built their homes.

The children then made their own mini wattle and daub walls.

Ros Liddington led a themed day at the school, covering topics such as building materials, clothes and superstitions and then the children had a royal visitor just in time for their celebration assembly.
