CHILDREN at Dinton Primary School have been learning all about how the Tudors lived.

The Kingfishers Class, Years 3 and 4, started their topic with a Tudor tour of Salisbury, finding out the history of the city’s buildings, followed by a visit to Montacute House, to see how the wealthy Tudors built their homes.

The children then made their own mini wattle and daub walls.

Ros Liddington led a themed day at the school, covering topics such as building materials, clothes and superstitions and then the children had a royal visitor just in time for their celebration assembly.
