CROWDS of visitors enjoyed the festive offerings at River Bourne Community Farm’s annual Christmas Fayre.
More than 1,200 people went along to enjoy the atmosphere and take the opportunity to buy fresh farm meat and a variety of seasonal gifts.
Santa in his grotto proved to be very popular and there was live Christmas music provided by folk duo Sarah and Trevor, while in the afternoon a programme of Christmas carols were performed by The Coffee Choir and Babes & Ballads.
For the children, there were rides, cupcake making and soft play area, while the adults made the most of mulled wine and hot dogs and refreshments from Laverstock & District Evening WI.
Many people took home a Christmas wreath, which created in a drop-in workshop run by farm volunteer Penny Theobald.
