GIRLS and staff at Godolphin School held a cake sale for the Salisbury Trust for the Homeless, raising £205. The pupils decided they wanted to raise money for the charity because they wanted to help people less fortunate than themselves and to give people in need a chance to get back on their feet.
Event organiser Clare Astbury said the girls involved had highly developed social consciences and really wanted to do something to help others.
