A VILLAGE town council has said goodbye to its booking clerk after 35 years of dedicated service.
Mary Parker has managed thousands of bookings in her 35 years as clerk for Durrington Village Hall and Pavilion. She is not completely retiring and will continue to keep Durrington's cemetery in pristine condition.
Sue Paines, chairman of Durrington Town Council, said: "We thank Mary for all she has done. She will be missed and we wish her good luck for the future."
