A VILLAGE hall, community centre, garden or play area that is in need of a revamp could be given a free make over thanks to the Prince’s Trust TEAM programme.

The programme gives young people aged between 16 and 25 the chance to learn new skills with the aim of increasing their confidence, abilities and chances of getting a job.

As part of the next 12-week programme which starts in Salisbury on February 25, the Princes Trust is planning to carry out a refurbishment project to help the local community.

Any school, village hall, community facility, park or charity is eligible to apply to benefit from the scheme.

The makeover will be carried out over two weeks from Monday, March 24.

All tools and materials will be provided and the team will fundraise to complete the project.

The TEAM programme is also looking for suitable work experience placements for the young people taking part.

Anyone who would like more information about the refurbishment project or can offer work experience can contact Gemma@learningcurve.org.uk or call 07714 076048.
