A SALISBURY exhibition about the work and life of renowned British photographer Cecil Beaton is to be given £5,000 towards costs by the city’s area board.
Salisbury Museum will run the exhibition from May 23 to September 19 this year and is anticipating 20,000 visitors. Beaton lived at Ashcombe House near Berwick St John and then at Reddish House near Broad Chalke. South West Wiltshire Area Board has already pledged £5,000 towards the show, which will cost £50,000.
