New specials join police
THIRTEEN new special constables received their warrant cards from Wiltshire Police Chief Constable Patrick Geenty on Saturday.
Family and friends attended to watch their loved ones recite the declaration of the constable. The specials have successfully completed a six month training programme and will now volunteer alongside regular police officers from their assigned area.
