CAMPAIGN group Frack Free Families is set to visit Downing Street tomorrow.
The group, led by Salisbury mother Becky Martin, was set up to raise awareness of the fracking technique used to extract gas from the ground.
Dr Martin said: “Unconventional gas exploitation - fracking - has the potential to contaminate the water we drink, the air we breathe and the land that we rely on for food. It is a threat to public health. We should be building a cleaner future for our children, not destroying their environment and leaving a poisonous, toxic legacy.”
Frack Free Families will be delivering letters, poems and messages to encourage a rethink on current support and proposals for exploratory drilling and fracking in the UK.
