Caravan destroyed in Ludgershall fire

POLICE are treating a fire in which a caravan was destroyed in Ludgershall as suspicious.

At about 10pm on Friday a caravan was found ablaze in a lay-by opposite disused MoD buildings at Drummond Barracks. The caravan, which was empty at the time, was completely destroyed.

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Alan Cromwell of Salisbury Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where details.

That whole area has been left to rot. If there are no plans to use this land or develop it, more people will dump waste there and start fires. There have been at least two caravans left there since I was last up there, not to mention household waste and car parts.
