HOCKEY players from Salisbury’s Chafyn Grove School are celebrating after winning the Independent Association of Prep Schools regional hockey championships.
Chafyn Grove boys’ Colts team won their group on February 7, scoring 11 goals and conceding none. They then went on beat King’s School, Gloucester in the semi finals and Hazelgrove in the finals.
Over the day they won seven matches, drew one, scored 22 goals and let only two goals in. The squad of nine boys will now go on to the national finals to be held at Wellington College in March.
