GYMNASTS from schools around the area converged at Amesbury Sports Centre Thursday for The Avon Valley SSP Gymnastics Festival.
The youngsters went round a carousel of activities, including the trampet, vault, partner balances and rhythmic gymnastics, while waiting for their turn to compete.
And Avon Valley College students Liberty Pike, Emily Reason, Tia Belton and Erin Burnett were on hand to help the younger children, and led the warm up at the start.
Teams in the competition consisted of up to six pupils, with the top four scores counting towards the team’s final score.
