A POST office that was forced to close by a fire is to reopen with a new counter and extended opening hours.

Netheravon Post Office will be open for business again from March 31, Post Office bosses have revealed.

The shop is inside the McColls shop in High Street which suffered damage after a fridge caught fire last December.

The new counter will be close to the shop counter and will be open for an extra 69 hours per week, including Saturday and Sunday and will no longer close for lunch.

It will offer almost all of the previous services except for Parcelforce Worldwide International Parcels, Transcash, NS&I Premium Savings Bonds and over the counter travel insurance. However, these services are available at Larkhill Post Office in The Packway, Larkhill.
