SALISBURY Rugby Club has handed over a cheque for £750 to the Pride of Britain award-winning charity, Sebastian’s Action Trust.

The trust, which supports families with life-limited and seriously-ill children from diagnosis through treatment and beyond, was chosen for support by the club following a meeting between former club chairman Brian Weatherley and Ted Crick.

Mr Crick’s family, including his son Charlie, who attended the presentation, have been supported by the trust for a number of years. Charlie, who suffers from a serious health issue which includes heart problems, said “I am thrilled that the club have chosen to support Sebastian’s Action Trust. The trust really helps me and my family and is always there for us when we need them.”

Helping to present the cheque was the rugby club’s under-nines team.
