SALISBURY MP John Glen visited the city’s St Ann Street Surgery on Friday as part of an initiative established by the Royal College of General Practitioners.
The scheme aims to link MPs with GP practices in their constituencies so they can gain a better understanding of the role general practice plays in caring for patients, and the daily pressures and challenges GPs and their teams face.
The surgery is a teaching practice so Mr Glen was able to participate in a tutorial with a partner and a trainee GP and also took part in a meeting of the patient participation group. He was involved in a future planning meeting and saw the range of care the surgery provides for its patients.
