PEOPLE can learn more about vital work being done to rebuild villages and livelihoods in northern Iraq at a talk being given in Salisbury on Wednesday.

Sarjon Toma, development programme co-ordinator with Christian Aid partner organisation Reach, will be speaking on Fearless – a Life without Fear at St Francis Church Hall at 6pm.

He will share his personal experiences of war, the powerlessness of the poor and his work to give rural communities a voice.

The event is free and will include a light supper. Donations welcome.
