FORMER Boscombe Down test pilot Group Captain Roger Beazley found his memories rekindled when he paid a visit to the Boscombe Down Aviation Collection (BDAC) at Old Sarum airfield recently.

In addition to the test aircraft present he discovered the cockpit section of an English Electric Lightning, a type of aircraft he flew more than 40 years ago.

The BDAC museum at Old Sarum is open every day (except Monday) from 10am to 4pm.
