A FOOTBALL tournament is being held in Amesbury in memory of a mother-of-three who died of breast cancer last year.

Lyn Futcher died on November 15 at the age of 44, after a five-year battle against breast cancer.

Her husband Greig and sons Tom, Henry and Freddie want to raise money for Salisbury Hospice to thank all the staff, doctors and nurses for the excellent they gave to the whole family.

Four teams are taking part in the tournament at Bonnymead Park tomorrow (March 28) at 6.30pm: Amesbury FC, Bemerton Heath Harlequins, Enford, and Laverstock and Ford.

Mr Futcher and his two eldest sons will be playing for Bemerton Heath in the evening, and Nic Holmes, former Southampton and Salisbury City player, will draw the raffle and speak to fans.

The event is open to all.
