POLICE have said they are not looking for anyone in connection with an alleged attack in Salisbury as the information they were given was inaccurate.
A 24-year-old woman she was attacked in Mill Lane, near Queen Elizabeth Gardens at about 10.40pm on Monday.
A police spokesman said: “We take all reports of violence very seriously and that matter has been thoroughly investigated.
“We understand this report will have raised concerns and, although it is important for people to be vigilant and think about their personal safety, we can reassure the community the allegation was inaccurate and we are not looking for anyone in connection with it.”
