POLICE want to identify two young men who cost a hotel bar in Amesbury more than £300 in lost alcohol.

Staff at the George Hotel in High Street, Amesbury were being distracted by a man at about 8.20pm on March 21 when his friend leaned across the bar and turned on four pumps, resulting in the loss of more than £300 worth of beer and cider.

One man is described as white, of slim build and in his late teens or early 20s. He had short, dark hair which was thinning on top.

The other is described as white, chubby and in his late teens with short, dark hair and a ginger beard. Police have released a CCTV image of two men they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.
