A MURDER investigation is continuing following the death of a woman in Durrington on Friday.
Wiltshire Police were called to a house in Avondown Road, Durrington, at 1.45pm to reports of a woman with serious injuries.
A 64-year-old woman was discovered with serious injuries inside the property. She died from these injuries a short while after officers arrived at the scene.
A 68-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody.
