Success for Dinton sports teams
A GIRLS football team from Dinton School are celebrating representing the county in a regional competition.
The team travelled to Filton, in Bristol, to take part in the ESFA South West Primary Girls seven-a-side football finals at the South Gloucestershire and Stroud College Wise Campus.
After being presented with medals and a trophy, the team went on to play the winning teams from Dorset, Cornwall, Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire.
The school’s Year 5 and 6 tag rugby team have also made it through to the county finals in May, making it the first year that children in Years 5 and 6 have made it to three county finals.
