PEOPLE are being encouraged to get fit for summer as Wiltshire Council offers a six-week swim and gym membership at its leisure centres for £40.
The membership includes a free gym induction and training programme and unlimited use of pools at council-run centres as well as unlimited use of gyms during opening times.
The membership can be used for any six continuous weeks between Monday, April 28 and Sunday, July 6.
The last date to join and make full use of the six week membership is Monday, May 26.
The council’s Cabinet member for leisure Jonathon Seed said: "This is part of our ongoing Legacy for Wiltshire programme, which aims to encourage people to keep active and healthy. “Having the use of the pool and gym means people can alternate their workouts and keep motivated. This year we are especially pleased to be delivering this programme as part of our new work within the health regime.”
