POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a suspected distraction burglary at a garden centre in Salisbury.
The incident took place at Golden Acres Nursery, Southampton Road at about 3.30pm on April 3.
A man and woman entered the garden centre, selected a barbecue valued at £480 and paid for it in cash.
They asked the cashier for some change and requested delivery. When the cashier told them they did not deliver they asked for their money back.
After the couple left the till was found to be £120 short.
Police have released CCTV of a man and woman they would like to speak to in connection with the incident. The man is described as mixed race, with black hair, wearing a white t-shirt with black logo on, a blue jacket with white sleeves, blue jeans and blue trainers.
The woman is described as white, with dark hair, medium build, wearing a blue top and grey cardigan.
