A DROP-IN session is being held in Salisbury to celebrate Volunteers’ Week.
This year is the 30th anniversary of Volunteers’ Week, which is a national event celebrating volunteers and the time and commitment they give to voluntary and community groups.
In Wiltshire there are an estimated 109,200 volunteers who on average contribute 3.6 hours per week to local voluntary and community groups.
Volunteer Centre Wiltshire, run by Develop Enhancing Community Support, is running a drop-in session at Salisbury Library on June 3 for people to find out what volunteering opportunities are available locally.
